Welcome to Our Folktale Podcasts!!
Mrs. Schiek's third grade students wrote, recorded and created their very own podcasts. Some students worked in groups, others in pairs and some individually. All the folktales were wonderfully written. After each folktale was complete, the students practiced reading them in their classroom. Mrs. Gilmartin, our Technology Staff Developer, joined Mrs. Schiek and her students in the computer lab and worked with each group to record their folktale using Audacity. Students then searched for copyright free music to add to their podcasts. The students learned how to save and insert music into their podcast as well.
